Driving assistance systems are becoming increasingly popular in modern cars as they aim to make driving safer and more efficient. One such system is lane departure warning, which uses sensors to detect when a car is drifting out of its lane and alerts the driver with a visual or audible warning. This can be especially useful on long road trips or in heavy traffic where driver fatigue may set in. Another popular system is forward collision warning, which uses sensors to detect when a vehicle is approaching another vehicle too quickly and alerts the driver to take evasive action.

Another example of a driving assistance system is adaptive cruise control. This system uses sensors to maintain a safe following distance from the vehicle in front and automatically adjusts the speed of the car to match. This can be especially helpful in stop-and-go traffic and on long highway drives, as it takes the stress out of maintaining a safe distance from the car in front. Additionally, some cars also have automated lane keeping assistance, it uses cameras and sensors to detect lane markings, and can help keep the vehicle in its lane by applying gentle steering inputs, so that the driver doesn’t drift out of lane and avoid any accidents.
